Dining at Sea

Koningsdam's offers an exciting mix of delicious choices to suit every taste and style in an incredible variety of new restaurants. As with all Atlantis cruises, there is never an assigned table, dress code or set dining time - you are always free to dine when, where and with you. It's the perfect way to make new friends!

Framed by ocean views and anchored by a stunning glass-enclosed wine tower, the heart of Koningsdam rests at The Dining Room, with state-of-the-art interiors and sumptuous multi-course menus to delight the senses.

For more casual dining, head to Lido Market, a modern marketplace with themed stations that change throughout the day to tantalize your taste buds. From pizza and panini to comfort classics and hand-cut meat, you'll find a wide selection. Grab a delicious slice at New York Deli & Pizza, a delicious poolside burger at Dive-In, or a sumptuous snack at Grand Dutch Café. The choice is endless and practically always available.

And if that's not enough, 24-hour room service is of course also available. Please note that some room service options may incur fees.

For a masterpiece of grilled premium steaks and fresh seafood, look no further than Holland America's classic Pinnacle Grill. This intimate venue offers an elegant, sophisticated dining experience perfect for a date or celebratory dinner.

Canaletto Restaurant, Koningsdam's signature Italian restaurant, serves freshly made pasta and other fabulous family-style Italian specialties in a casual yet elegant setting.

Tamarind Restaurant offers spectacular Pan-Asian cuisine with truly breathtaking panoramic sea views.

Sel de Mer is a cozy seafood brasserie that offers French classics with a twist. From bouillabaisse and fresh oysters to salt-crusted whole fish, this new restaurant concept is sure to impress.

Dinner at the Culinary Arts Center, Holland America Line's show kitchen transforms into a dining room at night. It's a farm-to-table concept with an emphasis on vegetarian and organic dishes that are simply prepared, although portion sizes may be a little too small for some. The line has a partnership with herb specialist Koppert Cress and grows cress in refrigerator-like incubators aboard the ship; it appears in most dishes.

Please note that all specialty restaurants incur an additional charge.

For guests with special dietary needs, Atlantis and Holland America offer "light and healthy," low sodium and cholesterol, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, fat-free, diabetic or other meals, depending on your preference.

Entertainment

The incredible World Stage breaks new theatrical ground with its redesigned 270-degree stage that puts guests right at the center of the action. You'll be closer than ever to our star entertainers, surrounded by glowing LED screens that will take your breath away.

The Lincoln Center Stage in Koningsdam offers outstanding chamber music performances every evening as well as afternoon concerts on relaxed days at sea.

One of Atlantis guests' favorite spots, Crow's Nest, offers panoramic views that change with every nautical mile, creating an airy, expansive place to relax and the perfect spot for many social gatherings.

Spa and Sports

Whether you want to enjoy your private time outdoors or spend the week in a spa cabin, Koningsdam offers an amazing range of new options for complete pampering and relaxation.

The striking and modern main pool offers plenty of space to relax, swim and play. There is even a full “magradome” roof that can be closed to create an indoor pool area. Private cabanas can be reserved on board by the day. They are tastefully decorated, equipped with numerous amenities and offer an exquisite retreat by the pool.

At the back of the ship you will find the inviting Sea View Pool. It is the perfect place to sunbathe, relax and enjoy the endless sea views.

The Greenhouse Spa & Fitness Center is the ideal place for heavenly beauty and wellness rituals. Enjoy a facial, hot stone massage or steam bath in the thermal suite. Release tension in the hydropool or take time for a workout in Koningsdam's state-of-the-art fitness center.

The cabins

Based on guest feedback, Holland America designers had complete freedom to redesign Koningsdam's staterooms, creating private oases characterized by light, space and elegance. With welcome modern touches like bedside USB ports and frameless glass shower doors, her staterooms and suites are larger than most in the industry and provide the perfect retreat after a busy day experiencing everything Atlantis has to offer.

Most cabins have private verandas and all include modern amenities such as flat-screen televisions with video-on-demand, HAL's signature Mariner's Dream bed with finely woven cotton linens, large bathrooms and 100% Egyptian cotton towels.

Koningsdam's suites offer a range of luxurious amenities as well as spacious rooms with sitting areas. The SQ, SC, SB, SA and PS suites even offer access to the private Neptune Lounge.
